










Allison Melangton has been the President and CEO of the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee since October of 2008. She brings over 25 years of National and International experience in sports and events management to this prestigious event.
Allison moved to Indianapolis in 1983 when the City of Indianapolis was in the beginning stages of implementing a sport tourism strategy and relocating national sports organizations to Indianapolis. USA Gymnastics moved from Texas to Indianapolis giving Allison the opportunity to leave Colorado and become a Hoosier. For 12 years she worked with USA Gymnastics directing 100 national and international events.
Following her tenure at the USA Gymnastics, Allison shared her knowledge and expertise with the Indiana Sports Corporation as Senior Vice President of Events. While at the Sports Corporation she bid on, planned, and directed numerous events including; Olympic Trials, World Championships, Women's NCAA Division I Basketball Championships, Big Ten Tournaments and administered both Indianapolis Super Bowl bids for 2011 and 2012.
Allison has worked at 7 Olympic Games, 4 as an Associate Producer of the Gymnastics Competition for NBC Sports, and won 4 Emmy Awards for her work.
Allison is a native of Auburn, Maine and a graduate of Colorado State University. She has been an Indiana resident for over 25 years.
With event operations, Andy will work directly as the liaison between the Super Bowl's operations plan and Lucas Oil representatives. He will also manage the space immediately surrounding the stadium, working closely with the NFL on transportation, security and traffic planning. Andy's most recent position as event manager at the Indiana Convention Center (ICC) and Lucas Oil Stadium (LOS) provides a natural fit to this new position. While at ICC/LOS (and formerly the RCA Dome), he also worked with stadium events and security. Andy received his bachelor's degree in sports management from the University of Dayton. He lives in Avon with his wife and daughter.
Brad serves as chief financial officer for both the Super Bowl Host Committee and ISC. He has been directing all aspects of the business operations of ISC since 2000, including the supervision of the organization's four-person accounting staff. He is responsible for budgeting and budget compliance, risk management, accounting and financial reporting, human resources and information technology. He also spent seven years at Ernst & Young, LLP. A graduate of Indiana University, Brad earned status as a Certified Public Accountant (Indiana) in September, 1996. He is also active in the community, serving as the past President of the Rotary Club of Greenfield - Sunrise.
Brad Carlson brings more than two decades of sports marketing and sales experience to the position of Vice President of Marketing for the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee. In this role, he is responsible for Marketing activities for the Host Committee including Corporate, Public and Media Relations, Advertising, Promotions, and Brand Management.
Brad served for the last six years as Vice-President of Business Development for Sport Graphics, helping grow the Indianapolis-based company into a national leader providing signage, creative and printing services to amateur and professional sports clients. Prior to his tenure at Sport Graphics, he was Vice-President of Marketing for the Indiana Sports Corporation for more than 15 years. During this time he led marketing, advertising and promotional activities for numerous national and international sporting events hosted in Indianapolis.
A native and fan of Indianapolis, Brad is an Indiana University graduate, is married and has three children.
Casey joined the Super Bowl Host Committee as a marketing intern and was promoted to Coordinator of Guest Welcome and Super Service. She is responsible for facilitating guest services within the hotel and restaurant industry. Prior to joining the Host Committee, Casey gained project management and administrative experience at Cummins Inc. She also gained sports and event management experience at Paragon Meeting and Events. Casey graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a degree in marketing. She also received a certificate in event management from Indiana University.
Connie has a significant amount of national and international event management experience spanning over the past 30 years. Highlights include working on the 1990 U.S. Olympic Festival, 1994 Goodwill Games in Russia, 1998 Olympic Games in Japan, 1991 World Gymnastics Championships, 2001 World Police & Fire Games, and the 2010 NCAA Men's Final Four. At the Host Committee, Connie will be responsible for managing, placing, and training our 8,000 volunteers, working with the NFL to plan and implement official NFL and Host Committee events, and coordinating a unified and festive look in the downtown area. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and her Master's of Science degree from Indiana State University.
As Director of Communications, Dianna will develop and execute the Committee's communication plan which includes providing regular updates to key publics, planning and managing the media center operations and implementing media strategies that include traditional and social media channels.
As a long-time Indiana Sports Corporation volunteer, she most recently managed media relations and communications for Lumina Foundation for Education. In 1999, her family relocated to Nevada where she administered employee communications at a gas utility company. Before relocating, she served in several positions with Indianapolis Mayor Stephen Goldsmith's administration as well as in human resources at Methodist Hospital of Indiana.
She has been involved with events in Indianapolis ranging from the bid process for the 2012 Super Bowl to multiple NCAA Men's and Women's Final Fours, the local organizing committee for the Big Ten Basketball Tournaments, and serving as a site representative for the NIT.
Dianna earned her bachelor of arts from DePauw University and her MBA from Indiana University. She currently resides in Zionsville with her husband and two daughters.
As Coordinator of Administration, Ebony works within the areas of office management, internship program, Host Committee meetings and communications. Ebony also provides support for Near Eastside Legacy Project and Community Outreach. Prior to joining the Host Committee, Ebony gained administrative and event management experience at Hamilton County Sports Authority. As an intern with the Indiana Sports Corporation, Ebony worked extensively with tournament operations and implementing community programs for the 2010 Big Ten Men and Women’s Basketball Tournaments and was a Team Host with the NCAA Men’s Final Four. Ebony graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Telecommunications.
As Manager of Transportation and Logistics, Jeremiah is responsible for managing the logistics for transportation, parking, security, warehousing, deliveries, equipment and Super Scarves. Prior to joining the Host Committee, Jeremiah gained athletic program experience while serving as the Director of Women's Basketball Operations at Indiana University-Bloomington. He also gained operations and logistics experience while working for USA Basketball at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications as well as a Master of Science in kinesiology from Indiana University-Bloomington and his Master of Business Administration from Ball State University. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Philosophy at Indiana University-Bloomington.
Lisa joined the Super Bowl Host Committee in January of 2009 and has brought with her nearly 20 years of customer service and administrative experience. Lisa was born in Chicago, Illinois but was raised right here in Indiana. Lisa attended Ivy Tech and is a graduate of the Professional Career Institute. Lisa was sought out by President and CEO of the Super Bowl Host Committee, Allison Melangton, to become the second member of the team that would organize the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis. As the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO, Lisa is the staff liaison to the Host Committee’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. She supervises the Host Committee’s administration department among a myriad of other responsibilities. Lisa enjoys spending time with her son and family.
Marshawn works with the NFL and the Host Committee to implement and manage the NFL's Emerging Business program which provides opportunities for minority - and women-owned businesses to participate in the Super Bowl procurement process. He will also manage outreach efforts for educational, community and youth initiatives. He most recently served as the minority and women business enterprise project coordinator with Nubian Construction Group for the Indiana Convention Center expansion. He earned his MPA in public finance and policy analysis from Indiana University - Bloomington and is currently pursuing his MBA at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University- Bloomington.
McKenze brings an Olympic spirit to the Host Committee with five years experience working and volunteering for three Indianapolis-based National Governing Bodies. Most recently employed with USA Track & Field and formerly with USA Gymnastics, McKenze was also one of Indiana Sports Corporation's volunteers of the year for her work on the 2008 U.S. Olympic Diving Team Trials. For the Host Committee, McKenze collaborates with various Super Bowl staff and committees to assist in their communication and marketing needs. After graduating from Stanford University, McKenze earned a Masters of Public Relations degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis. She lives in downtown Indianapolis with her husband.
As Vice President, Event Operations & Government Relations for the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee, Mel Raines is responsible for facilitating transportation and parking; stadium operations; safety and security; equipment, logistics and warehousing; ADA Disability Inclusion; Risk Management and Insurance; Government Relations and State and City Services; and the Clean Zone.
Mel has more than 15 years of event management, political, corporate, public affairs, and legislative experience. Prior to joining the Indianapolis Host Committee, she was the vice president of the Committee on Arrangements for the 2008 Republican National Convention. As chief operating officer, Ms. Raines played a critical role in organizing, managing and producing the Republican Party's 39th quadrennial convention. The Associated Press called the convention "a model of efficiency and organization." Raines previously held positions at the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Republican National Conventions, the Republican National Committee (RNC), and in the office of United States Senator Daniel Coats (R-IN).
Before joining the 2008 Republican National Convention, Ms. Raines served as Assistant to Vice President Dick Cheney for Political Affairs, directing all the Vice President's political and domestic outreach activities. From 2000-2006, Ms. Raines held several leadership positions at Altria Group, Inc.'s New York and Washington, D.C. offices, including Director of Government Affairs Outreach and Communications.
A native of South Bend, IN, Mel received her bachelor's degree in telecommunications from Indiana University-Bloomington and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Missy's local event experience with Dig IN - A Taste of Indiana and Heartland Truly Moving Pictures Film Premiers along with her national involvement in more than 100 events in 35 states for Drum Corps International makes her an eclectic addition to the Host Committee. She manages external relationships with community partners and 2012 Super Bowl special events like the NFL Experience and Super Bowl Village. Previously, Missy worked as the house manager for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Hilbert Circle Theatre. A graduate from Iowa State University, she earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. A member of the International Festival & Events Association and the Lacy Leadership Association, she is a resident of downtown Indianapolis with her husband and chocolate lab.
With more than nine years of managing project teams in higher education and recreation/sports facility construction, Shawn brings great experience to the Host Committee. He is on assignment from Shiel Sexton, where he served as construction project manager. On the Host Committee, Shawn is the director of special projects and will be providing coordination, scheduling, administrative/technical direction, and oversight of planning for a wide variety of projects. He is an Indianapolis native and earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Building and Construction Management from Purdue University. He lives in Carmel with his wife and two children.
Sheila, on assignment from the Indiana Sports Corporation where she is director of volunteer services, will serve the Host Committee in a similar capacity. She will coordinate all logistics of the volunteer registration system, assignments and volunteer communication. She has also worked as the marketing project manager for the 2001 World Police & Fire Games and the office manager for the 2002 FIBA World Basketball Championship. She earned her bachelor of arts from IUPUI and currently resides in Fishers with her husband and two sons.
Stephanie brings invaluable client service experience from acclaimed Indiana events such as the Indianapolis 500, Brickyard 400 and Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix. Working with sponsors, race drivers, teams, media, clients, volunteers, general public and event sanctioning bodies participating in Indianapolis Motor Speedway events, Stephanie is skilled in Hoosier hospitality. For the 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee, she manages external relationships with community partners and special events like the NFL Experience and Super Bowl Village. Stephanie graduated from Indiana University (Bloomington) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a Concentration in Special Education and Emotional Handicaps. An Indianapolis native, Stephanie currently resides in downtown.
As Administrative Assistant, Sue handles the 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee office operations and procurements as well as assisting in the community outreach and NFL Emerging Business programs. Sue is on assignment from Shiel Sexton Co. where she recently worked on the Indiana Convention Center expansion project. Previously, she was also an office manager at Irving Materials, Inc. for over 20 years. Sue resides in downtown Indianapolis.
Summer joins the Host Committee on assignment part-time from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). At IDEM, Summer is an environmental manager in the Office of Air Quality. She has received a Master of Public Affairs with a concentration in Policy Analysis from Indiana University-Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Environmental Management from Indiana University-Bloomington.

On assignment from Indiana Sports Corporation where she is senior vice president of event management, Susan joins the Host Committee to direct and manage hospitality services and events. Her primary focus will be the design, production and implementation of the Super Bowl Village. At ISC, Susan manages the partnership with the NCAA where she most recently served as executive director of the 2010 Men's Final Four. She has also managed six international and world championship events including 2005 Solheim Cup, 2004 World Swimming Championships, and 2002 World Basketball Championships. Susan received her bachelor's degree in journalism and sociology from Indiana University-Bloomington.
Susie joins the Host Committee on assignment from the Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association. She brings experience from ICVA where she serves as the vice president of convention services. She will manage all guest services including coordination with the hotel and restaurant industries. Susie has extensive community involvement including serving on the management committee for the Big Ten Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments and the NCAA Men's and Women's Final Four Local Organizing Committees. She graduated from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University with a degree in marketing and has one son and one daughter.
As Coordinator of Donor Services, Tina works directly with corporate donors to develop and deliver programs that will generate excitement and make a lasting impact in the community. Tina supports the Marketing and Communications division and coordinates special events for donors.
Since completing her nursing career, Tina has become a seasoned event coordinator and has been involved with numerous special events ranging from the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital Gala, U.S. Senior Open Golf Tournament at Crooked Stick, Bombardier Touchdown Celebration Super Bowls at Miami and Tampa and various events at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.Tina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Ball State University and lives in Indianapolis with her husband Keith.
As Senior Vice President of the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee, Tony will be responsible for providing administrative oversight and staff support for the Near Eastside Legacy Project, general administration and operations, and various community outreach efforts including the NFL's Emerging Business Program. Tony Mason has 20 years of experience in sports and special events management and youth sports program administration. He previously served as an administrator with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Amateur Athletic Association of USA (AAU), Indiana Black Expo Incorporated, Wichita State University, and Miami (OH) University. Prior to joining the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee, Tony served as the Executive Director of the Circle City Classic for eight years building upon the Classic's tradition of staging one of our nation's top, Black college football events with guidance and support from the Circle City Classic's Executive Committee, Organizing Committee, staff, and over 500 volunteers. Tony has received several awards including the Indianapolis Business Journal's "Forty under 40 - Indy's Bright Young Gems" Award, The Center for Leadership Development's Achievement in Business Award, and the Black Coaches and Administrators' Images of Excellence Award. Tony earned his bachelor and master degrees from Miami (OH) University and currently resides in Indianapolis with his wife and children.
Working with three dedicated staff members at the John H. Boner Community Center, the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee seeks to implement major portions of the Near Eastside Quality of Life Plan. These staff members each live on the near eastside and serve in many other volunteer capacities with near eastside organizations and initiatives.
James had served as the executive director of the John H. Boner Community Center for 10 years when he was named as the Chief Executive Officer in order to focus his time and energy on the Legacy Project.
Joe had served as the Community Builder for the Great Indy Neighborhoods Initiative since 2007 and prior to that worked as a commercial/industrial real estate appraiser for nearly a decade.
Tracy joined the Legacy Project staff after serving as the executive director for the Near Eastside Community Organization. She has over twenty years of nonprofit experience.
